MDOC Interpreting Services Portal

Access video interpreting services, training resources, and evaluation request forms for American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation.

Pre-Scheduled Interpreter Request

Request an ASL interpreter for upcoming appointments, meetings, classes, or events. Submit at least 24 hours in advance.

Scheduled Appointments

Important: A 24-hour advance notice is required. You must specify the nature of the call/appointment so an appropriate interpreter can be scheduled. ASL is the only language selection allowed for MDOC communications. Include your Microsoft Teams or Zoom meeting link in the request.

On-Demand Interpreter

Access immediate video interpreting services for urgent or emergent needs that cannot wait for a pre-scheduled appointment.

Urgent/Emergent Only

When to use On-Demand: For immediate urgent/emergent needs only, including review of a misconduct or Notice of Intent (NOI), unscheduled medical visits, or other rare incidents that cannot be delayed for a pre-scheduled ASL interpreter.

Not for: Groups, religious services, or routine appointments. If an interpreter is not present for a pre-scheduled call, contact support.
